- Introduction -
Below is a video I made as part of a guitar project which involved designing and building a resonator guitar. I planned the video, sourced the equipment and edited the clips together to produce a coherent video.
- What I Learned -
- This project gave me the opportunity to improve my video editing skills. I used a combination of Solidworks and Camtasia to edit both of these video. The Solidworks animations were completed using Solidworks. All of the video clips were edited together using Camtasia in order to get the final version of the video seen above.
- Hours of work goes into making a video that is only a few minutes long. This involves planning the video, shooting clips and editing iterations until you get the final version. There is a lot of planning involved to ensure the creator's idea comes to life in the final video and that there is a good flow from start to finish.
- It is important to know who will be watching the video, i.e. the audience, and create something that those people can relate to. This video was aimed at promoting the Engineering with Management course in Trinity College Dublin to potential students. Because of that I decided to add some humour into the video.
